Camping

Last weekend we headed out to Silver Lake State Park for another camping excursion. The day started out lovely, we visited Billings Farm and Museum which is in Woostock, VT one of the most quaint little towns you will ever come across. We had a great time at the farm and then took the trolley into town and had lunch. Then we headed out to Silver Lake and set up camp, swam in the lake (briefly, brrr) and played on the awesome playground there. So far so good, then came the camp fire time....not so relaxing with a 16 month old. We took turns attempting to hold Will...we tried the ergo, the stroller, the chair, and so on and so forth. Anyhow we managed to get through cooking and eating dinner around the campfire and roasting smores without any burn injuries to said toddler. By this time we were all worn out trying to restrain Will and were ready to turn in. Well Will did not like the air mattress (should have brought the darn pack-n-play after all!) and couldn't get comfortable and cried most of the night at which point we decided to pack up our campsite at 1AM in the morning and drive home. We had a good laugh driving back in the middle of the night while both kids slumbered peacefully.

Theatre Camp

Travis just finished up the long awaited theatre camp this week. The campers dazzled us with a performance of "Where the Wild Things Are." It was very cute and Trav was completely in his element! (That's him in the orange shirt)

Then we headed to Burger Night at Bread and Butter Farm. The kiddos danced the night away. Note the capes they all have on...that was the art activity of the night, so cute.
