Maple Syrup Time

Spring is in the air and this weekend we visited a maple sugaring open house. We tapped a tree, went around and checked for sap in the buckets and did some sliding down the hill sans the sled. Mmmmm those pancakes are calling our names!!!

Walking and Riding

We had a couple of big milestones in the Glock household this week..William has been trying his hand at walking and Travis got to ride the chairlift at the ski resort this weekend. He has been on the magic carpet all season which is basically like a moving walkway on a really small hill, so riding all the way up to the top and skiing down was totally new territory.

Jay Peak

This weekend we headed up to Jay Peak resort for a little winter weekend getaway. Not only is there skiing but an awesome waterpark to boot. The boys had a blast and so did mom....Andy did too until he wrecked his shoulder the last day we were there snowboarding. Now he has a fancy black sling (not pictured) and one working arm. Oh and I forgot to post this video a couple weeks ago...Will has a new party trick.

Skiing

Winter is upon us in Vermont and we are embracing it to the fullest this year. Travis is learning to ski. So far so good, but patience is definitely a virtue!

All Christmas all the time

It's that time of year when pretty much everything revolves around Santa's impending visit. Saturday we made a day of it....breakfast with Santa, cookie decorating with Mrs. Claus and then we hopped aboard the Polar Express and went all the way to the North Pole (is it the 25th yet???)
