I haven't posted anything in a while, but we sure have been busy. Here we are cutting down the annual holiday tree. Things got a little chaotic and I think the pictures of Travis holding the saw really capture that....you know you are stressed when you ask the 5 year old to hold onto the very sharp saw ???!!! Perhaps mom shouldn't have been so preoccupied with documenting the cutting of the tree. The good news is nobody got hurt and the tree is up in our house as well as all the holiday trimmings. We also have a new elf named tooty-fruity. He flew here from the North Pole and his first sighting was sitting on our antique Rudolph. I can't wait to see where else he gets spotted in our house (if the special elf power helpers don't forget to move him every night)

Halloween and Trav's 5th Con't
So we finished up Trav's actual 5th birth-day with a visit from the Clark side grandparents and some more cake and presents. Then the festivities rolled right onto Halloween. As you can see the Christmas theme never gets old at the Glock household!

Travis' 5th Birthday Party
Technically Travis doesn't turn 5 for two more weeks, but I decided I would be smart this year and have his party early to increase my chances of having an outdoor party (the thought of entertaining 10 boys and 2 girls indoors was not my idea of a good time), and voila mother knows best..it was almost 70 degrees and gorgeous!!
We had the party at Isham Family Farm which is a local Williston farm where we spend a lot of time especially in the summer blueberry picking and visiting the chickens and the two baby calves that staff the place.
The party goers enjoyed visiting with the animals, running through the corn maze, a tractor ride to the pumpkin patch where they each got to pick out a pumpkin, and then back to the picnic tables for some super sugary cupcakes!
